One of the most important steps in that process is the assessment. That’s where we get to meet with prospective residents, learn about their independent living needs, and figure out if they are a good fit for Independence Landing. Don’t worry! This is not a show-me-style skill assessment where you have to perform independent living tasks. This will be an interview-style assessment where you will be asked some basic questions in a comfortable environment.
To help us organize assessments for all of our prospective residents, we are using a website called SignUpGenius. It allows applicants and their families to schedule their assessment at a time that works for them.

All applicants are required to pay the $200 assessment fee in order to be considered. The preferred method of payment is by check. If you prefer to pay by credit card, you can use the online donation form on the Independence Landing website, located here https://www.independencelanding.org/give/. Payments made using the donation form should include the 2.9% service fee for a total of $205.80.
